1st Agile Cyber Drill 2025
The dynamic cybersecurity threat landscape demands for sustainable cybersecurity development. To ensure the protection of the Bangladesh’s Corporate Body, and Private Organization, MFIs, NBFIs, Sectoral Industry and Public Networks, the cyber preparedness and response capabilities must continuously improve and mature to bolster the nation’s cyber resilience.
As the Software Testing Laboratory (STL) is a first only one ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited by Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB), under the Ministry of Industries. STL mandated to formulate software testing, independent cybersecurity testing, coordinate cybersecurity test case, plans and programs, the STL endeavors to enhance the nation’s cybersecurity readiness and incident response capabilities by holding cyber incident response exercises.

On 14th December, 2024 at the National Press Club. Software Testing Laboratory, AGS Quality Action Limited held a successful press conference to announce its highly anticipated Cyber Drill Program. This initiative, aimed to enhance cybersecurity preparedness, is now set to launch on 26 February, 2025. The press conference featured representatives from the Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS), reaffirming their technical partnership with AGS QA. This collaboration emphasizes the importance of addressing cybersecurity challenges collectively.
Highlights of the Announcement:
- Event Launch Date: The Cyber Drill Program will officially commence on 26 February 2025.
- Participants: The event primarily targets corporate IT professionals, enabling them to strengthen their organizations' resilience against cyber threats.
- Program Features: Simulations of phishing, ransomware, and DDoS attacks to test response strategies, identify vulnerabilities, and promote proactive cybersecurity
- Registration: Registration for the Cyber Drill Program is already open.

Description
Remote exercise which participants take part in real-time from each workplace remotely. The exercise will be facilitated by the ISO/IEC 170 omputer Society (BCS) team with the aid of the Cl sectoral leads. All the participants will be provided with a situation based on a situation according to the provided scenario and share information on an incident via platforms indicated in the Event Information.
